Nick Stargu is an audio producer, composer, sound designer and video editor. At Audible's scripted audio division he produced comedy series including Maria Bamford's You Are (A Comedy) Special, Like Mother, Dr. Katz: The Audio Files and Reverse Transmission, and he was the video and sound designer for the Pee-wee's Playhouse 40th anniversary celebration for Netflix Is A Joke, at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. He also wrote the theme songs for More Bedtime Stories for Cynics (with Nick Offerman), Hold On with Eugene Mirman and The Hills of Baldwin.
He produced and performed on the Wolf Larsen songs "If I Be Wrong" and "Kitchen Door" — 50 million views on YouTube, 8 million plays on Spotify — and "If I Be Wrong" scored the Wednesday's-funeral scene in Netflix's Wednesday.
On stage, Nick is best known as DJ REAL, his multimedia musical-comedy act — Comedy Central's Colossal Clusterfest, Edinburgh Fringe, SF Sketchfest, Outside Lands — with TV appearances on Viceland's Flophouse and NBC's The Guest List, and opening slots for Devo and Bridget Everett. His debut musical comedy special, Why Won't You Dance With Me?, is out now. He is also the creator of the viral hit - Parkhub.org.
